Not worth the money. This app needs a lot of work

Love that Pete comes to life in 3D. No problems for me. My son loves it!

My kids love Pete the Cat. I thought this would be fun however once you go through each level you cant go back and play them again except for the bus. The game also kept closing in the middle of play. Great concept but the app needs a lot more work Dont waste your $0.99.

My daughter lives Pete the cat but still crashes as soon as game is done. Very sad :(

My 4 yr old LOVES the books so i thought id get the app. Quite disappointing. I was hoping that those 4 books could come to life after you completed the puzzle, each with their own song. The hidden objects are small and sometimes behind other items so for a 4 yr old yo find them is tricky. The guitars touch sensory is not sensitive for little fingers so it does not work properly when you want to play along. App needs much improvement. Please add songs from all 4 books as a reward for finishing the puzzles. Not worth 99cents at the moment. It almost just got 1 star, but we love pete. So please improve, add more features and games. It is supposed to be educational, not just a time killer. My child gets frustrated and bored with this app, even though he wants to play it so badly.

Grads from the Entertainment Arts and Engineering Program at the University of Utah worked on this. Pretty cool game and Pete 3D is fun.

I bought this app days ago and it still says loading. I deleted and reinstalled, still nothing. Not impressed.

All bugs seem to have been worked out! My 6 yr old daughter loves this! Would be good if it had a few more levels but still really cute.

Not very much to the app. Hide and seek was fun once for my 4 year old, but she has no interest in repeating it. There is little substance to the "rock out" bit either. Weve tried 5 different books (buttons, white shoes, Christmas, sunglasses, wheels on bus) with the camera button; the top of the screen goes into camera mode, and you can see the book, but nothing happens after that. I suspect its because we have versions ordered through scholastic reading club and not Harper Collins. Disappointing.

This is not the book. If you are looking for a great iPad version of Pete the Cat the book. This is not it. Disappointed that there is not any kind of book in the app. It is a lame game which I thought would unlock a book but it only unlocks a Guitar Hero clone.

Very good for a little one! My little sister loves this game and shes only 5!

Very dull app. No educational or fun games at all. My son quickly lost interest.

Cute app. My 3-year-olds like it. Quite short though. Took them no time to finish all the hidden objects and now theres really nothing else for them to do except do the screens over. Technically, it seems to work best on our iPad2 though. Is it not optimized for the iPad Air? The side bars are in the middle of the screen on the iPad Air.

In the latest update, there is a UI bug with two vertical yellow bars which block the screen. I tried a couple iPads and all three had the same issue. Please fix as this is a great app for my twins who love Pete the cat stories and the app.

I love this app and so do my kids with the exception of the presence of the yellow bars that align the middle of the screen? You cant always click on the hidden objects because of them and they are distracting from the actual game itself. This would be the perfect app if those lines/bars would disappear.

Its a cute app and my 2 1/2 year old son really likes it but the yellow bars are in the middle of the screen and some of hand hidden objects are obstructed from view. If the bars were removed it would be great.

Cute, but yellow bars on either side of screen make the games difficult to play and they are simply annoying! When you pay money for an app you expect it to work correctly.

My son loves this app. Pete is his class mascot this year and so he always wants to play after school. But please fix the yellow bars! He can hardly play the game now. Oh no! Once thats fixed the game will be great again.

Not worth the money!!! This app is not extensive enough for the money.
