Pete the Cat: School Jam App Reviews

My grandchildren and pre-kindergarden students love Pete the Cat. We would love this game if those yellow bars on each side would go away. PLEASE FIX THAT!

Sure wish I had read other reviews before paying for this app. I would really like a refund if this bug cant be fixed. Seems as if everyone is complaining about the same thing.

This app has minimal capabilities, is low quality, poor response to touch, it freezes, and is confusing to children. It doesnt involve any stories. This app is a HUGE disappointment

Please fix. Not sure, but I think theres audio quirks, too. Sounds are inconsistent.

People are just mad at this app because they are jealous that Pete is too good for them. They want more publicity for other boring apps.

My 3yr old is frustrated with this app. She has to keep tapping the item (e.i soccer ball) to have it recognize that she found it. It also has two yellow strips covering the pictures! Tried deleting it and reinstalling and still has the strips. I want my .99 cents back! The app needs a lot of work!

My kids are big Pete the Cat fans but the bars ruin the app.

Update put the iPhone bars on the iPad version ... needs another update, folks ... need to change the message from "This app is designed for both iPhone and iPad" to "iPad only" at this point ...

Only 4 seek screens and a song. My 3 year old did all 4 "games" and got bored with the song all within 10 minutes. Too bad since he loves the books and has done all the activities and song at preschool. It didnt even review colors or teach any foundational skill whatsoever. Pretty disappointing.

There are yellow bars in the way and the guitar camera stuff doesnt work. Very disappointed. We love Pete and his tunes.

This has to be the worst app I have ever purchased. My son loves the Pete the cat books so we thought we would purchase the app. The app has two columns going down the middle that you cannot make go away and block the picture. There is only one game available and it is not an intuitive game for a 2 to 3-year-old. All the other games can only be unlocked at an additional cost. I cant believe we wasted our money on this app.

Very Disappointing-Do Not Buy! I didnt want to tap any stars, but couldnt post without- Frustrated that after all this time & comments, theyve yet to fix-or even address this bar issue. But still- Its a very short app. Very little to do, limited in music-3yr old son lost interest after 1 round. Maybe this is why theyve decided not to address the bar issue.

My 5yo son loves Pete the Cat and this app but the yellow bars on the sides keep him from being able to play it properly! Its so frustrating!!!

My son loves Pete the cat, but save your $. Developers need to fix bugs, plus app is pretty dumb. It would be nice if they took some time and worked on it. Think they just churned this one out due to popularity of Pete. Its lame

if I could zero stars I would. The game is unresponsive to touch and hard to make it react even when you find the items. The items are either ridiculously obvious or so hidden a toddler cant find them. And there are yellow bars on the iPad version. I phone version the bars are in the right place but the app is so small it hard for a toddler to play on the app. Do not buy this!!

What is the deal with the yellow bars??!! Keeps us from playing the app!! Please fix!!!!!! Waste of money!!

Im so disappointed by the fact that despite all the negative reviews, the the only real problem (those annoying yellow bars) hasnt been corrected. It ruins the whole app!
