Pete the Cat wants to groove along with his friends at the school concert, but he can’t find his guitar! Help Pete the Cat find his guitar and search for hidden objects all throughout Pete’s school. Once you find it, rock out with Pete at the school concert—or jam on Pete’s guitar all by yourself! You can even unlock a hidden 3D Pete who will play along with you (hint: grab your favorite Pete the Cat book to start grooving). It’s all good!

The bestselling and beloved Pete the Cat series now includes this groovy new app in which kids can play a fun hidden object game as Pete travels through his school looking for his guitar. The objects change each time you visit the classroom, the schoolyard, the cafeteria, or the school bus for endless fun! And best of all, after the first time you play, you unlock the School Jam game and Free Play mode. In the School Jam game, tap the strings of the guitar when prompted, a la Guitar Hero, while Pete and the Cool Cats play Rocking in My School Shoes. In Free Play mode, play Petes guitar and watch him strum along in 3D!

•Search and find randomly hidden objects throughout four locations in Petes school
•Discover fun animations and interactive hiding spots
•Play the School Jam game, a quick tap game while you listen to Rocking in My School Shoes
•Play Petes very own guitar in Free Play mode

An extra bonus on iPad2 and above:
•Point your device in Free Play mode at any Pete the Cat book and watch a 3D Pete strum along in augmented reality

Latest reviews of Pete the Cat: School Jam app for iPhone and iPad

Badly designed
Yellow strips in the centre of screen that dont disappear. Only 4 levels to search. My daughter doesnt want to play again because everything is in the same place each time and it is too easy to memorize. But the guitar game at the end is brutal! You have to tap the exact centre of the dots, which is hard enough for me as an adult. The two games are at vastly different skill levels. Wish I could get a refund. Very disappointing purchase!
Not fun
My son had zero fun with this. Go with a PBS kids app instead
Love Pete but not this app
Get rid of the yellow bars. Having a software engineer husband helps me to know this is not a hard fix. Love Pete and hope that there will be more effort put into this app.
Cute but short
Its cute but our 6 year old finished it in no time. I thought there was more levels. It should be free not 0.99 cent because it doesnt take long to do it. Sorry really not worth it money. He liked it but was upset when it was over so fast.
Not sure if its just me...
I purchased this app for my 3 year old who loved his Pete the Cat -Love My New Shoes book. The part where it says to point camera at any Pete the Cat book and you will see some sort of 3D jam session turns out to be just my camera looking at the book with no special effects at all. My son still has fun looking for all the items however some are hidden pretty well and difficult for him to find. Overall, it is worth it for 99 cents.
